How to Make Health Bars

Apricot and Coconut Health Bar

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pitted Medjool dates
  • 2 cups dried apricots
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  • Pulse ingredients together until a coarse paste forms. Push into a parchment lined 8×8-inch baking dish. Place in the refrigerator to set and then cut into bars.

Almond and Cranberry Health Bar

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pitted Medjool dates
  • 2 cups almonds
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons honey

Directions:

  • Pulse ingredients together until a coarse paste forms. Push into a parchment lined 8×8-inch baking dish. Place in the refrigerator to set and then cut into bars.

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Health Bar

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Medjool dates
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions:

  • Pulse together dates, peanut butter and peanuts until a coarse paste forms. Push into a parchment lined 8×8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and lightly press into the mixture. Place in the refrigerator to set and then cut into bars.
